Why I See Business Differently
When I first thought about business, I imagined companies, numbers, and profits. Over time, I realized that business is much more than that. It is about understanding people, identifying problems, and creating solutions that can make a difference.
Moving from Vietnam to the United States gave me a different perspective on how people, cultures, and markets interact. I began noticing how the same idea can be received differently depending on the community and culture behind it. That experience sparked my interest in International Business.
Through projects such as PlasTrack and J-Handicraft, I started exploring how business can connect innovation with social impact. PlasTrack challenged me to think about how technology and government policy could influence consumer behavior, while J-Handicraft showed me how business can help preserve traditional Vietnamese crafts and create opportunities for artisans.
These experiences taught me that a successful business is not simply one that generates revenue. It is one that understands its customers, adapts to change, and creates value for more than just itself.
I am still learning what business means to me. But every project, competition, and leadership experience continues to shape my perspective: business is not only about building companies; it is about building solutions.
